Blur creates a smooth, Gaussian-like softening effect. Pixelation creates a mosaic/blocky effect by averaging pixel colors in grid cells. Both are commonly used to obscure sensitive information in images.
Currently the effect is applied to the entire image. Regional blur/pixelation may be added in a future update. For now, you can crop the area you want to blur, apply the effect, then combine it back.
